Before Kogi CSDP intervention, even though the 33KVA transmission line passed through the community, Power was not stepped down for the use of Alome-Ajinedu community. Some of the youths in this community migrated to nearby community where there are social activities and means of livelihood. This community was using a rented building apartment which was not conducive for clinic.
The intervention of Kogi CSDP has enabled the community after over 20 years of making efforts and appealing to Government Authorities to have electricity stepped down for their use.
The provision of rural electricity to Alome-Ajinedu has improved the economic activities of the community. Recreation centers and small scale business were established in the community
