The Niger State government has approved the re-appointment of the State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) Board of Directors with Muhammad Kontagora as it's Chairman, a letter to the World Bank and the Federal Project Support Unit (FPSU), and signed by the General Manager of the state CSDA, Yusuf Usman has stated.
Conveying the state government's approval, the letter lists other members of the Board of Directors as: Elizabeth Shaba, Musa Bosso, Ismail Anfani and Hauwah Muhammad all from the Civil Society.
Others include the Permanent Secretaries, Ministries of Finance, Planning, Women Affairs, Works & Infrastructure, LG, Community Development and the GM Niger CSDA as Secretary.
In a congratulatory letter, the NC(National Coordinator), CSDP, Dr. Abdulkarim Obaje, commended the state governor, Alh. Abubakar Sani Bello for reappointing members of the Board, whom he said are now well experienced in the Community Driven Development (CDD) approach and procedures of the World Bank assisted CSDP.
He called on the Board members to use their experience in CDD to advocate it's adoption as a development model in the state.
Obaje assured them of continuous support from the Federal Government through the FPSU.
