The ABIA CSDP is an Agency of the state government established by law number 2 of 2009 and its amendment, the ABIA-CSDP law number 2 of 2009. The project is one of the development projects in the World Bank portfolio and aims at;
The project adopts the Community Driven Development Approach (CDD) which empowers communities to; Choose, plan, part-finance, implement, monitor and maintain sustainable, socially inclusive multi-sectorial micro projects. That is allowing the communities to drive the process while the Agency plays the role of a moderator.
The main Project Developmental Objective (PDO) of CSDP is to sustainably increase access of poor people to social and natural resource infrastructure services.

Oyo state government under the able leadership of his excellency, engr. Seyi makinde, has approved the release of n72 million for oyo state community and social development agency (oycsda) for the improvement of living standard in the rural communities.
According to the agency board chairman, hon. Ahmed babatunde esuola, “i wish to announce that the state government, under the able leadership of engr. Seyi makinde has approved the n72 million government contribution for Oyo CSDA for the replications of CSDP in the state pending the commencement of cares project of which csda has been identified as a reliable platform for the implementation of the new projects”.
