The Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, has kick – started the commissioning of CSDP assisted projects. The commissioning exercise which started on Thursday 12th July 2012, took Mr. Governor, ably represented by the Deputy Governor, Otunba, Grace Titilayo, Laoye – Tomori, to Ibukun Oluwa in Osogbo LGA, Army Barracks, Ede, in Ede North LGA, Saba Community in Olorunda LGA and Agbeye Community in Odo Otin LGA. The projects commissioned include Construction and Furnishing of A Civic Centre, Construction and Equipping of a Skill Aqusition Centre and a 20 Locked - up Shops; Extension and Redistribution of Electricity with Installation of 500KVA Transformer and Construction, Furnishing and Equipping of a Library.
While commissioning the projects, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, through His Deputy hails Osun CSDP and the various communities for the result-oriented partnership, He made it known that the State Government through CSDP has assisted many communities to improve the welfare of the people of the state. Mr. Governor said ‘in the past, similar projects failed to achieve their objectives and the reason for the failure was the disconnect between the Government/ development partners and the target beneficiaries. The Governor therefore urged the people to keep and sustain the projects and gave a directive that Executive Secretaries across the state should embrace the good gesture of CSDP, adding that the projects executed are veritable tools towards achieving the Six Points Integral Action Plan of his administration in concrete terms.
Mr. Governor gave assurances that his administration would continue to support the agency through prompt release of counterpart fund, adding that ‘‘we will not relent in efforts towards improving the lives of our people, especially those at the grass root level’’

Oyo state government under the able leadership of his excellency, engr. Seyi makinde, has approved the release of n72 million for oyo state community and social development agency (oycsda) for the improvement of living standard in the rural communities.
According to the agency board chairman, hon. Ahmed babatunde esuola, “i wish to announce that the state government, under the able leadership of engr. Seyi makinde has approved the n72 million government contribution for Oyo CSDA for the replications of CSDP in the state pending the commencement of cares project of which csda has been identified as a reliable platform for the implementation of the new projects”.
