OGUN CSDP COMMITTED TO PROVIDING QUALITY EDUCATION

Education is the building block of a society. Without education, man’s life is short, brutish and nasty. Education is the bane of a society and knowledge is power. An uneducated society is often a lawless one where all manners of vices are found. Education takes a paramount position in the Development Agenda of the Ogun State Government led by His Excellency, Prince (Dr.) Dapo Abiodun, MFR and the Ogun State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA). The Agency is committed to ensuring that education is accessible to all children in the State.

The dwellers of Iwoye Central community in Ado-odo/Ota and its environs felt the development impact of the Ogun State Government as the Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) implemented by the state CSDA  intervened in the completion and rehabilitation of a block of four classrooms with funding of over seven million naira. The community members could not believe their eyes as the CSDA handed over funds as well as the entire process of planning and implementing the project.

The Iwoye Community Primary School is a community school has been serving the basic educational needs of Iwoye community for a very long time and thus needs expansion and upgrade.  The construction of additional classroom blocks will ensure that overcrowding is mitigated and spread of communicable diseases among students is controlled. One of the residents was quoted as saying “Now, our children can study in a modern class, teachers can now monitor each student comfortably”.
