appreciates the World Bank, the Federal and State governments

The first batch of the cross-cutting trainings for staff members of the Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) has ended with a call on participants to put into use skills and knowledge gained from the trainings for the benefit of the project.           

National Coordinator (NC) of CSDP, Dr. Abdulkarim Obaje gave the charge at the closing ceremony of the Drivers training  held at Lokoja, Kogi state. 

Obaje appreciated the World Bank, the  Federal and State governments for providing the CSDP development platform that has brought socio-economic development in rural communities and vulnerable groups in Nigeria. He added that it is this same government initiative that is enhancing the capacities of Nigerians through this cross-cutting trainings.  

The first batch of the CSDP cross cutting trainings were held concurrently in Lokoja, Minna and Ibadan where Procurement Officers, Admin Officers, Office Assistants and Drivers were trained.                
The NC was represented at the closing ceremony in Ibadan by the Head Monitoring and Information Management, Mr Niyi Oduneye while Mr Wale Fabowale, the Head of Operations of the CSDP represented the NC in Minna.
