It was celebration galore in Ukowa-Uvete Community in Okene LG as the National Coordinator of the Federal Project Support Unit (FPSU) of the Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) Nigeria, Dr Abdulkareem Obaje, commissioned their development projects.

This is an Agrarian Community with a large market that was facing serious threat of erosion. With a large population of young people, there were few opportunities for acquiring skills leading to high rate of youth restiveness
Before Kogi CSDP intervention, even though the 33KVA transmission line passed through the community, Power was not stepped down for the use of Alome-Ajinedu community
