Anambra State Community and Social Development Agency (ANCSDA) successfully organized a 4-day Staff Training and Capacity Building sessions on Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Program for Result (P for R) which commenced on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Trig-Point Hotel Nibo, Anambra State.
The well-loaded Capacity building event for all the staff of the Agency which was well covered by the media teams from ABS Radio/TV, Purity FRCN Awka, Print media, etc., also has as it's Key Resource persons, the General Manager ANCSDA, Mr Chudi Mojekwu, Operations Manager ANCSDA, Mrs Uche Nwaizugbo, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager ANCSDA, Mr Chuddy Nworah, and Finance & Admin Manager ANCSDA, Mr Francis Madubuonu.
Anambra CSDA is currently partnering with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) to train some focal community and/or group members with Completed and equipped Skill Acquisition Centers under ANCSDP-AF on Skills and trades in three (3) different location centers (Awka, Agbudu, and Aguleri) so that they can re-train others back home when the training ends. The on-going training is scheduled to last between one and two months depending on the type of skill. Some of the skills and trades involved in the training include Computer learning, Hair dressing, Tailoring, Bead making, Carpentry, Block molding, Tiling, Phone repairing, Barbing, Shoe making etc.
